Better than markdown.

Way better than manually adding all those tedious HTML tags.

Able to handle complex content structures.

Able to make ebooks, and print book PDFs.

Able to make websites with Hugo.

This is a fantastic tool.

I have tried markdown. There are too many variants. I end up having to convert content, again.

I have tried restructuredtext (rst) and Sphinx. It had the feel of DITA XML. Footnotes where harder to use than asciidoctor.

For me and my writing, I will chose AsciiDoc and compile it to HTML using Asciidoctor.
