John Nicholas JACKS was born about 1740 in Baltimore, Baltimore, Maryland. [1] He died about 1820/1830 in Bath, Kentucky. [1]
John married Asenith Martin (1751-1795) about 1769 [2] in Yadkin Valley, Rowan, North Carolina [2], daughter of John Martin and Ann Dorsey. [2]
They had the following children:
(i.) Son, John Nicholas Jacks, Jr b. 1770, Yadkin Valley, Rowan, North Carolina, d. 1850, ,Yalobusha, Mississippi.
(ii.) Son, Richard Marion Jacks (1772-1841) b. 14 Mar 1772, ,Rowan, North Carolina.
(iii.) Daughter, Mary Jacks (1773-1835)
