Walter Lee Ray 1877 → James B. Ray 1913 → James married Cliffie Marie Lanham, daughter of Thomas Berry Lanham.

Walter Lee Ray was born in Arkansas [1] about 25 March 1877.

He married Grace C. (Sims) Ray before 1904 (estimated from her oldest son Walter H. Ray). Grace was born about 1882 [1] in Arkansas. [1] Her father was born in Tennessee, [1] and her mother was born in Mississippi

The 1930 US Census for Idabel, OK shows Grace C. Ray as head of household with James Ray at 16 years old at last birthday, making this James Ray compatible with James B Ray’s age. It also shows James as born in OK, while his parents are from Arkansas, matching what is known about James B Ray. Grace C. is also reported as Walter L Ray’s spouse by Oran Stroud Lanham.
